The Cockburn Cougars are pleased to announce a three-year partnership with Roar Active, through to the end of 2025.
Roar will be the official gym partner for the Dentistry Plus Cockburn Cougars, providing athletes with an unmatched opportunity to build an edge over the opposition all-year round.

Cockburn Basketball Association CEO Tyrone Thwaites acknowledged the importance of the partnership, and what it means in an NBL1 landscape continuing to professionalise each year.
“While we currently do not have access to an in-house gym, we are continuing to find the most professional opportunity for our athletes to be the best they can be,” he said.
“There are not many places that come close to what Roar can offer, and with their Bibra Lake gym only 6 minutes from Wally Hagan, it just makes sense for our athletes and community.
“To be able to access the gym, pool, recovery facilities and reformer pilates as part of the opportunity for our athletes, it’s a great draw card for our program and a wonderful opportunity to step our professionalism up a level.”
Roar Fitness marketing manager Hannah Selbie echoed Thwaites’ comments, noting the two brand’s had an undeniably similar values focus.
