Constitution and By-Laws

The Cockburn Basketball Association recently held a Special General Meeting (September 16) to pass six Special Resolutions in relation to the Association’s constitution, by-laws and Director tenure.

These were passed on the evening and have now been verified by the Department – meaning they are now in effect.`

Now these resolutions have been verified, President Travis French will sign off a Notice of Annual General Meeting next Friday 23 October, notifying members for an AGM on Wednesday November 25.

Under the Cockburn Basketball Association’s constitution, you must be a member prior to the Notice of Annual General Meeting being sent out, in order have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

In order to obtain voting rights, you must complete one of the following two forms (if you haven’t already been granted membership) by no later than 12pm Friday October 23:



IMPORTANT NOTE: All nominees for the board must also have voting rights, so please ensure you have applied for voting rights by the date and time indicated above.

Board Nominations are also open and must be completed by 5pm Wednesday October 28:
