The Dentistry Plus Cockburn Cougars are coming off a tremendous win against the Rockingham Flames in last week’s elimination final. They now face the Perth Redbacks coming off a tough defeat to the Joondalup Wolves. The teams both won their home games against each other which sets up what should be a thrilling match with formidable players across the court. The Redbacks boast bigs Jessica Jakens and Maddison Allen who will provide good opposition for Jessie Edwards who had a huge game last week with 31 points and 11 rebound. Ruby Benn will have an important assignment on Makailah Dyer, but the Cougars will need to help her out and if she can provide some baskets it would be huge for the Cougars. Taylah Simmons will need to step up for the Cougars with her dangerous moves in transitions vital to the Cougars chances of taking home the win and facing Willetton on Saturday night.
